Attributable to family records, and years of tedious research, this is the paternal ancestry of George Samuel Reid as we know it: GEORGE SAMUEL REID (10 Feb - 10 Nov ), born in Clinton, Davis County, Utah; married to LaVon Holt Reid. George is the son of: CHARLES MORGAN REID (6 Jun - 25 Sep ), and Esther Weir Stedman. The name Nathaniel keeps coming up in family searches. Jesse Reid's children known all give NC as place of birth. His son married in Buncombe County which I understand sits right on the border of Iredell County.
